Tech Automation strengthens its position after acquiring BP Electrical Switchboards

Vejle, January 5, 2026 – The owners of Tech Automation today announce the acquisition of BP Eltavler, a reputable Danish manufacturer of electrical panels.

The acquisition is a strategic move that expands Tech Automation’s capabilities and supports the company’s ambition to be an agile and value-creating partner for both internal and external partners.

“We are pleased to welcome BP Eltavler to Tech Automation,” says Jesper Juul, CEO of Tech Automation. “With this acquisition, we strengthen our position in the Danish switchboard market and increase our ability to deliver flexible and value-adding solutions to our partners.”

The current owner and CEO of BP Eltavler, Jens Bro Pedersen, will continue as a partner with a 20% ownership share. He will continue to manage the daily operations in close collaboration with Production Manager Simon Nordhejm Funch and COO Carsten Lindegaard from Tech Automation.

“Together we will be able to create increased value, flexibility and innovation for our partners,” adds Carsten Lindegaard.

BP Switchboards will continue under its own name but will become an integrated part of the Tech
Automation group.
